Earlier this year the University of Alabama Press published Mr. Bunn’s new book, Early Alabama: An Illustrated Guide to the Formative Years, 1798-1826. His research for the book will be the basis of this lecture: he will highlight some of the interesting events and people who were involved in bringing Alabama from a frontier territory to the 22nd state to join the union. 

Mike Bunn is a member of the Muscogee Genealogical Society and serves as editor of its journal, Muscogiana.
