Saturday, Jun. 8 — Genealogical and Patriotic Societies Open House at the Genealogy Room of the Columbus Public Library. Come learn about the services offered in the Genealogy room and about some of our local genealogically-oriented organizations. More details to follow.

Saturday, Aug 10 — Lecture on “Early Alabama” by Mike Bunn — in celebration of the 200th anniversary of statehood for Alabama. Mike has just come out with a book entitled “Early Alabama: An Illustrated Guide to the Formative Years, 1798 – 1826” (University of Alabama Press, 2019). Copies will be for sale at his talk.
