The Muscogee Genealogical Society has launched its own YouTube channel, dedicated to:

• Sharing the history of Columbus, Georgia, and the genealogy of area families
• Informing researchers about special resources that can help them in their genealogical and historical research.

We hope to be able to post at least one video a month; they will be short (around 7 minutes).

Callie talks about the first published history (1874) of Columbus, Georgia. She explains the use of secondary sources in genealogical research and reveals how Martin compiled his book.
